Shoreditch love: what to do this weekend

It’s no surprise that we absolutely love Shoreditch – it’s the place we chose to call our own and we love being surrounded by little boutiques and unusual, quirky places. So it’s only natural that we’d try to spread the love and get you to, when popping by 11 Boundary for a visit, wander around the neighbourhood and discover all the interesting things it offers.
This weekend we love the idea of Hoola Fest, a hoola-hooping festival in one of our favourite bars, the Queen of Hoxton.

Pray for the sun and head to the cosy roof terrace at the Queen of Hoxton for free hoola hoop lessons, free dance lessons, plus DJs, BBQ and of course, amazing cocktails.

If like these girls, you’re sick of the fake tan, big boobs trend, head down to the Love Shake, also on Sunday, and meet the girl gang called the Vintage Mafia, who will be hosting a vintage sale and social, all whilst enjoying food in a 50s diner.

And if you fancy yourself a bit of a break, head over to one of Shoreditch’s finest (and conveniently, no more than 10 steps away for us), The Albion cafe at the Boundary Hotel, for some fresh food, trendy-but-relaxed atmosphere, and award-winning bakery.
